
Conveniently located near downtown Grass Valley and the Nevada County Fairgrounds on five secured acres of pines and oak trees, Carriage House Farm is a boutique boarding facility that caters to retired horses, horses in need of lay-up, rehabilitation services, or short-term vacation boarding. The facility offers a variety of accommodations, including box stalls, paddocks and pastures with shelter. A sand arena is also available for lunging, ensuring the horses have the space they need to stay active and healthy.
Carriage House Farm welcomes horses in need of a quiet, safe place to retire or recuperate. Short term stays while owners are on vacation is also provided.

The twelve stall barn has 12×12 / 12×16 / 12 x 24 box stalls. All stalls bedded with triple screen pine shavings.

Choose from irrigated or dry pastures, paddocks, or sheltered areas for your horse’s comfort and well-being.

Because the owner lives on site, Carriage House Farm is able to provide 24-hour supervision, ensuring the highest level of care. Horses are fed twice a day with hay and/or alfalfa, and stalls are cleaned twice a day; pastures once a day, to maintain a comfortable and clean environment. Additional services are also available, including blanketing, lunging, grooming, body clipping, medicine administration, and wrapping.
We pride ourselves on our excellent working relationships with local equine veterinary and farrier services, ensuring that all horses receive the best possible care during their stay.
